These half-day online retreats—offered through MIU’s Distance Education Department—help you settle the mind, balance the body, and strengthen your connection with your Self.

There are three opportunities per block to participate—space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Retreat details

To create the deepest experience possible, please plan ahead so you can fully attend and relax.

  • Adjust for your time zone (all times listed in Iowa Central Time)
  • Use your @miu.edu email when registering
  • Check your MIU email for your Zoom link 48 hours before the retreat (not sent to Canvas)
  • Wait at least two weeks between retreats before registering for another

Please note:

  • If you have young children, arrange for childcare during the retreat.
  • Full Sidhas cannot be accommodated in the half-day retreat program.

Retreat guidelines

Make the most of your retreat experience with these simple steps:

  • Log in between 8:45–9:10 a.m. CT; the meeting locks at 9:10 so we can begin together
  • Join with your first and last name visible on Zoom
  • Stay through the final activity (TM tune-up or Maharishi video)
  • Watch the Maharishi Yoga Asanas demo in advance to prepare
  • Meditate only during the retreat (no separate morning meditation)
  • Have a light breakfast before beginning
  • Go to bed early the night before and keep your afternoon open for rest
